The whole FC Extensions ecosystem for Fluent Community is here
I was supposed to release the extensions one by one. I didn’t have the patience.
This week, every free extension came out at once, together with the first two premium ones: Gamification and Business Access.
Getting everything is simple. Update FC Extensions to 1.6.6 from your WordPress plugins. From there, it all happens inside FC Extensions. The extensions are sorted by families, “Suggested for you” shows the ones that complete what you already have, and the “Select” button installs or updates as many as you like in one go.
A little thing I really care about: the “What is new” button tells you what changed in each extension. No more guessing.
As for the premium extensions, I told you the Founder price would go up with the second premium extension. I’m giving you this weekend anyway. Until Sunday evening, it’s €99 for one site, for life. On Monday, October 19, it goes up to €199.

Regarding the Directory extension can it be used for listing recommended software within the community? Or does each listing need a location and pricing?
Chris Yes, Directory works well for recommended software. A listing only needs three things: a name, a category and a summary. Location, price, opening hours and contact details are all optional.

No address: the listing just doesn’t show on the map. The map view is off by default anyway.

Price: this is a free-text field. You can write “Free”, “Freemium” or “From €29/month”, or leave it empty.

Useful for software:
- categories such as “Email”, “Video calls” or “AI”;
- custom fields per category, such as “Platform”, “Free trial” or “Affiliate link”;
- website, logo, screenshots and a demo video;
- a members-only offer for a promo code;
- reviews from members.

Settings to check:
- Turn off Claims if you don’t want software vendors taking over their listings.
- Choose who can propose listings: all members (you approve each one) or only your team.
One limitation: you can’t hide the address and opening hours fields for a category. They still show in the form, empty.
