Who's Online Widget
Any plans for creating a widget to display which user's are currently online? It's the only remaining add-on I'm using from another developer that I would love to get rid of. If I've missed somewhere else I should post these requests please let me know.
I didn’t choose to develop it, as I don’t feel it adds much value for the community. However, it would be quite simple to do so—that’s not an issue at all.
It really depends on the level of interest and whether everyone actually wants to use it. I try to keep everyone in mind and avoid just piling up extensions; I want to ensure they are genuinely useful.
You are, of course, welcome to post in the community—that’s perfectly fine. Alternatively, you can post directly on the roadmap; you’ll be able to track progress there, and I also provide responses.

Je n'ai pas souhaité la développer, car je ne trouve pas qu'elle apporte grand-chose à la communauté. Mais il serait assez simple de le faire. Il n'y a aucun problème.
Cela dépendra vraiment de l'engouement et si tout le monde souhaite l'utiliser. J'essaie de penser à tout le monde et de ne pas non plus empiler les extensions. J'essaie de les rendre utiles.

Dragan Stamenkovic Ok, thank you and makes sense. The one I use is set for admins only as it's useful for us to know who's online for various posts and events we run.
Chris D. Can you tell me more about it? I find your usage interesting.
Dragan Stamenkovic it probably doesn't scale across other communities but when we run live events in our community and someone is either A) online or B) having troubles accessing AND online we can send them a message we have high confidence will reach them. It's helped our show up rates and even support issues. It's never shown to any users other than admins and moderators in my use case.
