⚡ New free extension: Quick Access
I’m really happy to introduce Quick Access, the new free extension in FC Extensions.
In a community, everything starts with navigation. And on phones, even more so. With Quick Access, you choose the icons your members have at hand:
- on computers, the shortcut bar, right next to the profile;
- on phones, the top shortcuts and the whole bottom action bar, profile included.
Everything is set on a single screen: your community on the left, your blocks on the right. Start from a model, add the directory, events, bookmarks or your shop, choose who sees each icon, and publish when you like it. Then the statistics show you what your members really use.

It’s already in your FC Extensions. If you don’t see it under “Available now” yet, open the extension list and click Refresh the list.

Je suis très content de vous présenter Accès rapide, la nouvelle extension offerte de FC Extensions.
Dans une communauté, tout commence par la navigation. Et sur téléphone, c’est encore plus vrai. Avec Accès rapide, vous choisissez les icônes que vos membres ont sous la main :
- sur ordinateur, la barre de raccourcis, juste à côté du profil ;
- sur téléphone, les raccourcis du haut et toute la barre d’actions du bas, profil compris.
Tout se règle sur un seul écran : votre communauté à gauche, vos blocs à droite. Vous partez d’un modèle, vous ajoutez l’annuaire, l’agenda, vos favoris ou votre boutique, vous choisissez qui voit chaque icône, et vous publiez quand tout vous plaît. Ensuite, les statistiques vous montrent ce que vos membres utilisent vraiment.

Elle est déjà dans votre FC Extensions. Si vous ne la voyez pas encore dans « Disponibles », ouvrez la liste des extensions et cliquez sur Actualiser la liste.

Dear Dragan Stamenkovic , thank you so very much for this great add-on, which is absolutely helpful and perfectly working. Question: Where and how can i add A SINGLE icon/link to the mobile header icon menu bar WITHOUT getting the 3-dots-sub, which then would carry my added icons/links? Meaning: I would like to add one single icon after the other and not a 3-dot-menu with my icons choice as sub menu. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Truly ... Tom.

Thank you so much, I’m really glad Quick Access works well for you!
On phones, the top bar has room for 3 icons. When you add a 4th, the extension keeps 2 and moves the rest into the “More” button, so the logo stays readable on small screens. The Fluent icons (notifications, dark mode, search) use these places too.
To show your icons one by one:
- Free a place at the top. Click a Fluent icon you don’t need, like dark mode, and remove it. Your own icon then takes its place.
- Use the bottom bar. It has room for 5 icons, side by side, and it’s the easiest spot for thumbs.
Switch the preview to “Phone” to see the result right away, then click “Publish”.

Dragan Stamenkovic THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your super helpful reply. Would you mind, to please integrate the option on letting the admin decide, on how many icons he wants to apply to the top? This, because the majority of my users have rather new and big smartphones, so that i easely could add 3 or even four single icons. Kind question: Would it be possible to let the add-on find out, if it has to flip icons to the "More" section (button), if the user has a smaller phone?
