Dragan Stamenkovic I am still not clear how the integration between ClientVault and WP, Fluent Suite works....for example..if I have a client that is already registered on my site (wp user, in fluentcrm, in fluentcommunity taking courses, etc), how do I add them to ClientVault without having to delete (unique email) before becoming a client in ClientVault? Can I assign a tag/automation in fluentcrm that would make them ClientVault client without additional registration?

It's much simpler than that, and during the installation wizard, you can specify the roles you want to grant access to your vault. If you haven't done so, no problem; you just need to select it in the settings. As soon as you've selected the role, all accounts with that role will automatically have access to your vault. If you have new clients or others who aren't registered on your site, you can use the .csv import (if you have multiple files) or the single-add option.

Dragan Stamenkovic thanks for that and for my clarification...In my setup, all contacts get "subscriber" role in wordpress and in fluentcrm. However, these contacts are not all my clients. My Clients gain access to specific pages/posts/community/spaces/courses based on tags granted by Fluentcrm. Currently, as soon as I selected the role - "subscriber" in CV settings, all contacts are added to CV as clients....I would want only contacts with specific tags to be added as Clients in CV. How would that work?

Debo Ogunrinde a custom-made example for you.
If you don't know how to manage WP roles, I recommend the excellent User Role Editor plugin.

I understand, but Client Vault doesn't work that way.

If you want to add specific contacts, you need to assign them a special role.
In this example, it's subscribers, but depending on your configuration, other roles will also appear. You simply need to select them.

Adding users isn't done based on Fluent CRM tags. The role method is the most universal and works for everyone.

Because if I integrate users via Fluent CRM tags, I'd also have to do it for other CRMs. And that would complicate the system. Especially since roles are much more widely used than Fluent CRM's tag-based organization. You have a very specific management system. Currently, Client Vault has native integrations with Fluent CRM automations, but nothing more.

However, there's a very easy solution to implement, and I'll share it with you. What I recommend is creating an automation in Fluent CRM that will automatically add a new WordPress role for Tags 1, 2, and 3. This is the role you'll use with Client Vault. This way, you'll have exactly what you want: your own tag management and automatic synchronization of users associated with those tags with Client Vault.

Dragan Stamenkovic I can work with that, and thanks for your patience...
Please correct my understanding....

  1. Once, I set up the automation as described, every time I add a tag to a contact, then the automation runs to add the contact to the role and will auto sync contact to Client Vault as Client.
  2. Since the client is already a wordpress user, there will be no need to register again to gain access to Client Vault and if already logged in, will have access to his/her Client Vault page?
  3. In terms of terminogy: Is Journey "Steps" same as a Course or Program? which means can be created in Client Vault as Steps or imported directly from LMS (FluentCommunity Courses)?
  4. If I duplicate a DEMO Journey, can I use it as a "starter" journey for my Program (clone, edit, etc) or it will also be deleted when all demos are deleted (reset)?

Debo Ogunrinde

1 - Yes, absolutely. Make sure you've selected the new role(s) in the plugin settings.

2 - Yes, absolutely. There's no need to create a new account for the client, as it already exists. Note that they must have a WordPress account. Just a record in Fluent CRM isn't enough.

3 - You decide based on the learning path you want to create.
For example:

--- 1 course = 1 journey with the same steps

--- 5 courses = 1 journey with several modules or all the courses in the journey

--- 0 courses + custom steps = 1 journey
--- 1 course or as many as you want + custom steps = 1 path

You create your learning path according to your learning philosophy. Of course, if you already have a course, it already provides excellent support. In this case, you can automatically import from Fuent Community or 9 other compatible WordPress LMS plugins (Leandash, Learnpress, etc.).

4 - If you duplicate a course and keep the term "demo," in the title, it will be deleted upon reset. However, if you give it a new name, it will be preserved along with the course steps.

Dragan Stamenkovic this is awesome! Now, I am gaining deeper understanding of Client Vault…thanks again for your patience in taking me through this process…I can say again that you have put a lot of thought and energy in creating Client Vault and it is becoming more and more evident!

Debo Ogunrinde You're welcome, it's my pleasure to help you, and that's perfectly normal. I'm so glad you can now fully explore Client Vault. I actually spent a lot of time on many small details, asking myself the simple question: I have this problem, so I can't be the only one. How can I solve it so it's no longer a daily obstacle? I created Client Vault because I was frustrated myself by not being able to give my clients the best, even though, as a trainer, the first thing you want is to share your knowledge to help others. It's the sum of all these details and this experience that I also hope to share through Client Vault. The plugin is already at a good level, and I know it will improve even further thanks to the community and the very relevant feedback like yours. So, in the end, it's me who should be thanking you! If you need help with anything else or need any information, please don't hesitate to ask. I'll get back to you as soon as possible. See you soon and enjoy!
